Newborns and infants are particularly sensitive to chemicals and unfortunately, their bodies are not very good at clearing them from their tissues. As such, it is especially important for pregnant women and women who are nursing to try and reduce their own exposures to chemicals so that they don't transfer the substances to their babies. In addition to this reduction, limiting chemical exposures from other sources is also extremely important. Here we provide recommendations and resources that can help you learn more about the effect of toxins on growing fetuses, newborns, and infants and we provide links to many organic and naturally derived baby products.
