A new study from Harvard confirms that when beverages are consumed from Bisphenol A (BPA) containing polycarbonate plastic bottles, BPA ends up in the human body. Most sodas and bottled water are packaged in BPA containing polycarbonate plastic bottles.

After touring the Esperanza Community Housing Corporation in South Central Los Angeles on Friday, Vice President Joe Biden announced the US Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) will make nearly $100 million in Recovery Act funding available to clean up lead-based paint and other health and safety hazards from low-income homes. The monies will go to 53 programs in 20 states and the District of Columbia.
